About Susan Frigge

Susan's a southern California girl born August 1, 1969.  She came to Texas when she married her husband Brian in 1995. Her love for snakes came after that when her husband expressed a childhood desire to own a snake. Having been told as a kid  that he could not have a snake as a pet, Susan saw no reason why as an adult he shouldn't.
Their first snake was a ball python which is named "Number Three". The story behind that is:  Asking their at the time two year old son learning his numbers what to name the snake, you guessed it, he quipped "Number Three". Susan loved having Number Three so much that she wanted another one.  So, for Mother's Day six months later "Chubsy", another ball python, was welcomed into the home. After that she had to have a snake of another color. Before that happened other reptiles were acquired: iguanas and leopard geckos. But, with a growing family and a ever increasing busy schedule, the high maintenance iguanas and geckos had to go. (Hope they are enjoying to this day their new homes.) Snakes where the ones for Susan! Since then she and Brian have acquired columbian boas, brightly colored corns, a luesistic Texas rat (all white in color) and checkered garters (including an albino one). "Snakes are indeed fun!" says Susan.
